LIMINARIDADE | 5 MOVIMENTOS consolidates the axis of research ART VALUE WORK of the group.
It emerges from the encounter of two self-managed dance groups stationed in São Paulo: TRÍADE (2008) and Coletivo Cartográfico (2011). Both groups develop liminal researches, that quest to stretch the possible boundaries of contemporary dance, bringing it closer to other fields of aesthetic, poetic and political knowledge – mainly in the visual arts, urbanism and geography. We have noticed the possibility to conjoin our trajectories in 5 movements, with the intention of oxygenating, deepening and radicalizing our frontier practices.

This was a project of research and creation that lasted 12 months, divided in 5 movements which focuses were: 1. publication, collection and record; 2. city, adrift and cartography; 3. de_frontiers between arts; 4. art-activism; 5. body as performative construction.
In each movement, we dwell on practical and theoretical materials triggered by the provocation of guests. From this immersion, we carried out choreographic and performative actions, of different natures: revisiting previous works of TRÍADE or Cartográfico + re-enactments of emblematic actions in the history of dance/performance + orig9inal new actions. The #1 movement [publication, collection and record] threads the project, triggered by a COLLOQUIUM and culminating in an artistic-critic-choreographic publication: LIMINARIDADE.
